Moving Install and Activations

I was thinking of moving DCS on to my SSD drive using the Steam backup and restore function.

 

Anyone know if that burns up an activation?

If you just change the location of the installation, it should not matter. Only if you make significant changes to your system a new activation should be required.

 

Significant in this case would probably be if you also move your windows to a different harddrive. (the installation of a new HD just for data should not matter).

You're right :) Successfully migrated it to my other drive without having to activate again.
