BManx2000 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 In the "Patrol" mission, I came in for landing only to find an AI huey had stolen my landing pad. Luckily I managed to land on the corner of the pad without crashing... :joystick:

BManx2000 Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 In "UN Pilot" you are assigned to a specific landing pad on which you must land in order to win the mission. I actually did try landing on another pad, and it didn't work.
zerver Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) You don’t have to land on this particular pad. Just land on the same FARP, or pad near it and mission will be completed. If I’m not mistaken, there is no way to assign helicopter to particular pad in the mission editor, so AI always takes random, non-occupied one. EDIT: I’m pretty sure that, when I was flying this campaign, I was landing on closest available pad at Madrid FARP (that FARP is second from the west, if I remember correctly) and had no problem with ending a mission. BManx2000 Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 Oh, then I must have landed on a pad in the wrong FARP... perhaps the image that says "Your spot, rookie" should be changed to reflect this?
