Nascar Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Is the repeater compass supposed to work like it does? You have to fly straight to get a good reading. In turns, it flops around. Listening to the engine when dogfighting it sounds like it has a delay, like a jet. Is this accurate? Maybe, it is my controller. At times, when maneuvering in the vertical it sounds like it isn't making power. Is this a bug or am I mismanaging the engine? lesnyborsuk Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Is the repeater compass supposed to work like it does? You have to fly straight to get a good reading. In turns, it flops around. It is because of magnetic dip: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_compass_turns#Magnetic_dip I remember when sex was safe and flying was dangerous.
