Mission: God of war

Can any one tell me how to complete the God og war mission, I think it is mission 15. As I remember, I have to evacuate a person, and then I near the pick up area, they say they are on fire, so I have to call the artellery in. I have 3 coordinates, I can give the artellery, they fire and call back that the mortars are eliminated. I'm been told to get the wounded person, its ok. I'm told to takeoff, and about 5 sec. later, the mission is failed.

 

I have flown the mission 4 times, and it is always the same. That am I doing wrong?:helpsmilie:

I found the solution by my self. One of the coordinates I have to choose from, was actually friendly forces. If you don't have a map in front of you, you will never know.

 

I think Belsimtek have made a little trap there :-)

I had the same problem. So if somebody else encounters this problem - the map can be found under

 

\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Missions\Campaigns\en_Spring_General_map.png

 

 

However, I noticed a small issue in the german version of this mission.

 

 

When you're asked to give the coordinates and you chose the first option (the correct one), then the 3rd option is not deleted from the F10 menu (see 2nd screenshot).

 

 

This was misleading especially because it takes a while until you get another message and because the "report coordinates" message doesn't disapper for a while. So I thought I need to get additional, more accurate coordinates and chosed the 3rd, remaining option.

 

 

The result was that I received two messages after that. First, success (because of the 1st grid) and soon after mission failed/friendly fire because I've also chosen the 3rd grid.

 

 

Long story short, once you've reported the grid, the 3rd option should be removed from the F10 menu as well.
