S77th-konkussion Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 If anyone is interested in a simple carrier quals practice mission on hyperlobby- I have one on the big S77th server ready to go if any of y'all want to use it. I can turn on the externals and all that. Version 1.12a required. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
NY3D Posted April 15, 2006 Author Posted April 15, 2006 Excellent tips, this is gonna save me a lot of valuable time.I've had a little experience with other carrier based aircrafts sims, but this one is in my opinion the most realistic AC carrier experience ever, nicely done.Hey S77th-Konkussion thanks for the help brother, highly appreciated.
RvEFoxteR Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Hey Konkussion, don't wanna sound like a smart ass but I think you've mixed ADI with HSI. HSI has glideslope and localizer bars on it. In some planes those two instruments are combined but on the Su33 they are separated. S! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
S77th-konkussion Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Nope- the ADI is what I meant. Page 14 of the manual - labeled #3. Yes, the HSI has ILS bars too, but the ADI is very intuitive. It leans to show the amount of correction that you need, not just your position in the approach right now [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
169th_Crusty Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Too bad hornet is so boring ;) ...not if you don`t see this little "circle" coming up in your HUD (after launch)
RvEFoxteR Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 RGR if you were refering to angle of bank and turn& slip then it was my bad in understanding you. Sorry for that :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
