Manuel_108 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Hi guys, This might be a really stupid question but I just can't figure it out: How on earth do you minimize DCSW? It minimizes perfectly while being in the main screen/options/mission editor etc. but as soon as I start a flight/mission, I can't do it, which is annoying as hell. I already tried pretty much ALL minimizing commands without success..Any tips?

Manuel_108 Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 No way..Can't be that easy :music_whistling: Oh well thanks alot for the quick answer.
Reksi-Erkki Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Alt-Tab works for me as well, but only if there's another program running. Helios is enough, or TeamSpeak, or anything really. But if DCS is the only running program (besides the ones in systray), I cannot Alt-Tab to desktop. Have to try Alt-Esc! Dear Shilka. I hate you so very very much. Love, Rex
SilentGun Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Ctrl alt delete, task manager, and then alt tabbing works. Link to my Imgur screenshots and motto http://imgur.com/a/Gt7dF One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... Bugs with Superbugs, Tiffy's with Tornado's, Fulcrums with Flankers and Mirage with Rafales... :)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)
Fri13 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Ctrl+Alt-Del -> Task Manager -> Click any other window and DCSW jumps back, but then I need to hit again Ctrl+Alt+Del and then Esc and after that Alt+Tab works. So wish that there would be a fix for it, other than running Full Screen Windowed mode (and yes, I have other windows background running). i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
Manuel_108 Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 Yeah, it can be a tiny bit annoying at times.
FlightControl Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Yep. And running dcs world in a virtual desktop is also an issue. In windows 10, when you create a new virtual desktop, dcs world is running in all the desktops... SnP102 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I usually just hit in the Windows button. I imagine the other options mentioned are better because they take you directly to the desktop...
CharlieCZ Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 In options untick: Disable aero interface and fullscreen. With this, i can always alt-tab.
infernus1986 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 If fullscreen is checked in options alt-tab generally doesn't work, use Windowed mode no need to disable Aero FX-8320 8Gb R9-280 X-55 Opentrack [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
