Hello, I just updated and immediately jumping into the MiG I was disoriented.

It seems the default field of view or zoom level or something I can't quite determine has changed suddenly and I cannot comfortably view around the cockpit and generally I don't feel I control my head anymore!

I haven't played DCS in several days but have a hard time believing I would have completely forgot how it is.

In the A-10 I can only see the HUD text if I'm so close to the dashboard I can only see the vertical velcoity indicator but I remember seeing the engine gauges!

Overall I can't settle into a good position in any aircraft and in the 21bis with default zoom even if I lean as far back in the cockpit as possible I can still not even see the radar if looking straight ahead!

I'm also having a hard time looking more than 45 degrees down and my head automatically moves backwards when I try to do so. It seems they changed head behavior with absolutely no regard for Headtracking users...

What the hell happened? Did anything happen?

Edit: MiG21Bis zoom levels are different than other aircraft, that's what put me off the most I guess.

Mine works the same. I've checked the original files and they seems not to be changed since September last year.

Check your controls for axis assigned without your knowing for movement of head and for zoom level.

I checked in-game/TrackIr curves but the issue seems to be my camera position, centering and possibly lighting conditions, I spent an hour or something moving back and forth and recentering and that seems to be the issue. I was probably sitting closer or further away from the screen simply. Does anyone have a tutorial on trackir setup and settings? Also does anyone know if the headset thing is worth anything? Head cap thing tracks perfectly in yaw but in pitch it only tracks approximately 32 degrees up or down.

I also noticed zooming et cetera works differently in different aircraft. I must never have tried zooming in the 21bis before. I've mostly been playing Su-27.

Gerry Abbot made an excellent video of setting up Trackir m8.

I have the same issue with thw A10 only (KA50 is OK) the problem seems to be the default zoom level - made worse by constantly resteeing to the defeult even after I have adjusted the zoom to something usable. playing with Track IR might cure the symptoms but not the causw wich seems to be a change since the latest patch. I can't identify which files might be the problem as all the obvious ones predate the latest patch.
