Helios won´t create export.lua

Hello,

 

Ive tried several times, but as the thread states i cant get the 'Helios Profile Editor' to create export.lua

 

I´ve got the Install path sett correctly

I´m running the Profile Editor as administrator

When i press "Setup DCS A-10C" the program says "DCS A-10C has been configured" but no file shows in the mentioned "DCS World/Config/Export" folder.

Ive tried creating the Export folder manually, but still no show.

 

If i search for the Export.lua ive only finding the ones existing pre-helios.

For DCS World the location has changed. They are in your "%USER PROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS\" folder if I remember correctly.

The correct location is:

 

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\Export.lua

 

If you copy the file that Helios creates under your DCS: World installation directory (can't remember the exact location) over there, it should work.

Latest versions of Helios detect DCS World and create it in the right location.

I manually install my own Export lua, from Capt Zeen's F-15 profile. His includes tweaks for FC3 aircraft support among other changes.

If the current Helios version writes to the correct directory, this should not be neccessary, as you should have write access to your own user profile.
