Hi all,

I hope this hasn't been posted already. I searched, but couldn't find an answer.

Management Summery:

:helpsmilie:How do you have a track from a mission that won't end?

---

Details:

I'm flying the P-51D solo combat mission--of course I'm not killing the two target boggies, George Preddy I am not --so inevitably I run out of fuel--because bullets are forever :P--and have to emergency land in a field somewhere.

Well, the old horse does her mandatory buck on touch down at 110 knots and without power I can't control her and eventually nose over and now I'm on my back.

The ol' nag is burning now and my vision is starting to go red so I jettison the canopy and try to climb out with the bailout command <LCntl><e>, but nothing happens as all fades to black....

"ummm... hello? Anybody there?" Nope, just a black screen and the sound of crackling fire :(.

I wanted to save the track, so I escaped to the menu and clicked "Quit", but I was not offered a way to save the track .

What do I have to do to save the track in such a situation?

Many t(h)anks in advance.

The only way to do that is to not start the mission through the training menu. When you are in the regular 'Mission' menu, you will need to navigate to the folder containing the desired mission and select it from there. This time, when the mission ends, you will have the option to save the track.

IIRC, changing the options in the training missions is on the 'Wishlist' somewhere.

Many thanks for your reply .

Yeah, that makes sense. I didn't realize that it had to do with how the mission was started.
