Valium Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Hello. I've got DCS FC3 and I found something which seems to be a bug. Check if you have the same problem as me. Look at MiG-29 cockpit. Problems I've found: 1) I've got 2 HUDs, screen also show HUD 2) Lights in cockpit aren't orange just blue I haven't installed anything. Do you think it could be because of LOFC2 installed? lmp Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) 1) It's not a bug, it's a feature. You can bind a key combination that changes between tactical view and HUD repeater modes for the HDD. 2) I don't know what you mean, could you elaborate? Edited February 16, 2015 by lmp

Sure, I took a photo of MiG-29A and MiG-29G cockpits. Is it normal? Rather not. Click here to see more pictures of Polish Air Force! Check also my album.
lmp Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Go to your key assignments, find "MFD HUD Repeater On Off" and assign a key to it. Then start a mission and click it. As for the colors, I really don't know if it's a bug or not. Edited February 16, 2015 by lmp
Weta43 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 1) It's not a bug, it's a feature. You can bind a key combination that changes between tactical view and HUD repeater modes for the HDD. You can, but the reason it's not mapped by default is that the real aircraft only has the HUD repeater (apparently it was wrong before, correct now) - which would mean that if you use the 'tactical view' in the MiG, you're - for want of a better word - 'cheating'... Cheers.
Valium Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 What about those colors? Can you check them in your games guys? Click here to see more pictures of Polish Air Force! Check also my album.
SilentGun Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 the MiG-29G and the MiG-29A/S are different aircraft so lights are just diffrent Link to my Imgur screenshots and motto http://imgur.com/a/Gt7dF One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... Bugs with Superbugs, Tiffy's with Tornado's, Fulcrums with Flankers and Mirage with Rafales... :)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)
Azrayen Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I think orange is the default/real color. Blue color was introduced by Ricardo's textures. But it looks like some instruments that weren't on the A haven't been done in blue. So the G, which mixes original A instruments and "western" instruments now shows both colors. Just a guess... Not sure if it's a big deal? I mean, IIRC a full 3D/6DoF cockpit is somehow WIP for the MiG-29, perhaps it's more profitable to wait for it?
Valium Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 I didn't install Ricardo cockpit so I just wonder if it's normal or something goes wrong. Click here to see more pictures of Polish Air Force! Check also my album.
Valium Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 Thank you guys for checking it. I thought something went wrong because when I used to play LOFC2, lights in cockpit were orange. Click here to see more pictures of Polish Air Force! Check also my album.
