envoy23 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 have downloaded dcs world and am looking for a current profile that I can use with my 3d pro and the su 25T old profile are *.lua but my dcs world looks for *.diff.lua have tried a couple of lua profiles but most keys are not mapped if any body has a current profile and instructions on how I map keys and under what headings would be great also does 25t have full weapons ? because weapon change does nothing as you can see I am a noob so please help
BitMaster Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Hey envoy23, I think you should start to map your own buttons to get some understanding of how DCS needs to be worked on. Your Stick ( I have a Logitech too ) does only have 1/10th of the buttons compared to a Hotas, so programming/mapping the 8-12 buttons the stick has in total is no big deal. You cannot map all functions etc. to 12 buttons, not to 24 and also not to 36 buttons, there are way too many options and you have to decide what you want to use the keyboard for and what you place on your input device of choice. I only want to use kb for engine start etc. I think I have mapped throttle as slider but it does not work, and also weapon change but again does nothing only ideas ?

The mailman brings it tomorrow, I investigated the best flightstick for entry flyers in dcs. This is it. So dcs i understand in basics,now the flying. ander35 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Same with me. I am new, and have a logitech sd pro for my su-25. I am using the hotas diff lua profile and it isnt working so hot, I canot fire! The thing is, when I assign a button to fire manually, that does not work either! I understand patience is needed, but this is getting annoying.
