ander35 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Is there a problem with tyhe SU-25 training mission in which you use the Shkval to fire the 29T missile at the tanks on the runway? I have tried it ten times and it will not fire. I manually set the controls to space bar and it still will not fire. Why? :joystick:
Rangi Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Because space bar is used for continuing after text box, you need to change fire to a custom button or different key. PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor.
ander35 Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 Wont work Nope, it won't work. I reassigned the fire button to the joystick and tried firing the gun on it and it works when I hit that button. However, when I try to fire the 29T after following the directions, it will not work. This is a bug I bet.
kontiuka Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 You have to hold down the trigger for a couple of seconds. Are you doing that or just clicking quickly?
ander35 Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 That worked! And it is weird because I do not have to hold the button down for unguided rockets and for the gun to fire. But for some reason my plane wants to roll now, it has something to do with this controller, I think the flaps are up or something crazy.
thdman1511 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 ander35, when you fire your missile the plane become unbalanced due to the reduction in weight, and therefore you will need to trim the plane to counter that. I find that hard in a combat situation myself but I try to counter that with joystick movements. However the correct way is to trim the plane after firng your missile if there is roll present.
