Juuba Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 (edited) Hi, As I was commuting to work, with the local traffic going BOZOING with power outages, I was imagining saluting and waving hand signals to my wingmen in various DCS aircraft. (read: F-14 Tomcat pilot signalling the international finger salute to Mig-28!!) Maybe create a "new" F10 menu or similar, with a few hand signals Salute Follow me! Look "here" and then directions Up/down, left right maybe.. Attack! Retreat/Regroup/etc.. There, I said it. The direction (not the direction of LOOK HERE) where the hand signal is shown could be dictated via the "POV" of the pilot (using TrackIR/whatnot/Mouselook), i.e. where the pilot is looking. ps. I know there's no Mig-28 IRL. It's just a Top Gun feat! Edited March 3, 2015 by Juuba 1 Sometimes I Amaze even Myself!
OnlyforDCS Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 It's probably a ton of modeling for little actual gain, but I love this idea!! Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.
arkroyale048 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 I want this for Naval Aircraft. I want to do those hand signals to the deck crew and of course that salute before you catapult off into the air. Irregular streamer: http://www.twitch.tv/arkroyale048/profile
