Hi,

As I was commuting to work, with the local traffic going BOZOING with power outages, I was imagining saluting and waving hand signals to my wingmen in various DCS aircraft.

(read: F-14 Tomcat pilot signalling the international finger salute to Mig-28!!)

Maybe create a "new" F10 menu or similar, with a few hand signals

  • Salute
  • Follow me!
  • Look "here" and then directions Up/down, left right maybe..
  • Attack!
  • Retreat/Regroup/etc..

There, I said it.

The direction (not the direction of LOOK HERE) where the hand signal is shown could be dictated via the "POV" of the pilot (using TrackIR/whatnot/Mouselook), i.e. where the pilot is looking.

ps. I know there's no Mig-28 IRL. It's just a Top Gun feat!

It's probably a ton of modeling for little actual gain, but I love this idea!!
