That's a nice skin, but from historical accuracy point of view, it needs to be improved. I like the aluminum finish and weathering, but there are some serious errors about national insignia. First, they're too small (should be the size of the default WWII symbols), but more importantly - they're reversed on the wings (the stars should be on top left and bottom right, while "USAF" writing should be on top right and bottom left).

Man, the FF-736 is my nr. 1 favorite livery at the moment, so thank you for making it! A stellar job IMO :thumbup: Someone commented on the DL page how this skin has the best primer "paint" ever done for the DCS Pony, and I agree; that slightly oxidized / yellowish tint is just superb.

Any chance we'll get more Korea skins in the future, BTW? You do such a great job of it that I'd just _love_ to see more!

Mate, thanks for the offer, I'm honored :thumbup: The following page has some great Korean war color footage and various Mustangs as well - just take your pick if you find anything you like:

S! - and thanks once more for the awesome FF-736 livery, loving it :)

PS. The USAF Mustang nr. 511529 is an interesting one. It has no squadron markings, so maybe it hasn't been deployed yet? Or maybe it even fought like that, who knows?

PPS / EDIT: To be more precise, this aircraft is actually missing its buzz number: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buzz_number

I just noticed about reversed and small symbols with this skin FF-742:

If you can fix it please.

Sleipner, I hope You don't mind a bit of a constructive criticism. In my opinion there's one thing which separates Your Korean War skins from being "good" and "perfect" and this is a problem of national markings:

a) They are very low-res, which stands out compared to great detail of other elements on Your skin;

b) They have wrong proportions - the diameter of the star is too small compared to the width and height of the side bars. The post 1947 markings had exactly the same proportions as 1943-1946 ones (the only difference being addition of red stripes), so If You use default WWII markings as a base, You will get correct shape;

c) You used the same size of the markings for wings and fuselage, which was never the case on USAF Mustangs (the wing ones should be bigger);

That's the only thing which prevents me from using Your FF-736, 'cause otherwise it's a great skin indeed.
