Bi0ng Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Can anybody tell me how i only use my fueltanks to feed the engine? insted of using my internal fuel :)
Valium Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) I don't what you excatly mean but if you want to use additional fueltanks which F-15C can take, you should choose them in 'mission editor'. They should be filled up at once but if not, you can ask Ground Crew about fuel ( engines must be turned off ). You shouldn't notice any difference in 'clock' ( device which showing the amount of fuel ) if you've got additional fueltanks. However, the pointer won't move until the fuel from fueltanks is not burned. Edited March 16, 2015 by Valium Click here to see more pictures of Polish Air Force! Check also my album.
Bi0ng Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 which direction should the knob point? below the fuel indicator
104th_Maverick Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 The aircraft (F-15C) starts taking fuel from the external tanks first, once they are empty it will start taking fuel from the internal tanks. If you are reffering to the knob under the fuel gauge, this is not a feed switch, it just shows you how much is left in each tank (wing external and internal etc) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 104th Phoenix Wing Commander / Total Poser / Elitist / Hero / Chad www.104thPhoenix.com www.facebook.com/104thPhoenix My YouTube Channel
blkspade Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 It should also be noted that fuel flows from the externals only when the gear is up. The AAR hatch being open also will cause fuel to only feed from the main fuselage tank. http://104thphoenix.com/

blkspade Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Is this modeled in AFM ? Yep, thats why I mentioned it. http://104thphoenix.com/
GGTharos Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Feed tanks. When you're doing AAR your feed tanks no longer replenish - they hold about 2700lbs of fuel between them. It should also be noted that fuel flows from the externals only when the gear is up. The AAR hatch being open also will cause fuel to only feed from the main fuselage tank.
