SnowTiger Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 It has been a while since I last flew the BlackShark but I haven't changed my Hotas Settings/Profile. I always had my Hover Hold and Route Mode settings programmed to a specific toggle. But today I noticed that Route mode did not engage. In fact, when looking in the Controls, I don't even see Route Mode as an Auto-Pilot Option anywhere anymore. I did have my waypoint selected and the necessary Auto-Pilot buttons selected ... but it simply appears that the Route Mode function doesn't exist any more. Can someone please shed some light on this for me ? What am I missing ? Did a recent patch eliminate Route Mode ? SnowTiger Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 OOPS.. Sorry for the Post/Thread. First of all, it's under "Engage/Disengage Route Mode" .. not AutoPilot ..etc. But more importantly is the fact that for whatever reason, my hotas button is not working correctly. If/When I push it hard enough, Route Mode DOES engage/disengage. But I find it odd that I have to press it so hard. But that is my own problem and NOT an issue with the Ka-50 or any patch/update. Sorry Folks. DieHard Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) Sometimes there is a need to recalibrate. Worst case and a real pain in the arse is to unplug the controllers and reset from scratch. Also could be a dirty button and dirty contacts. Radio Shack used to make a canned spray solvent to clean the analog TV tuner rotary. (My current big flat-screen TV does not even have one of those anymore!) To Home Depot in the electrical department I have seen a similar cleaner. There is a button on my CH Fighterstick that works in other setups for different aircraft that refuses to set for me setting up the Huey. Go figure. For route mode I just type the "r" key when I need it in the Ka-50. Edited March 30, 2015 by DieHard [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
kobac Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) I didn't want to open a new topic, but the issue is related to AP. A long time I didn't flew DCS K-50, and now I see in this version 1.2.16.37730, when the “ЛЗП” – desired track angle hold, mode is activated, helicopter does not return, and does not follow the line route, as it should be, and as it was previously. In fact these two modes (“ЗК-ЛЗП”) behave the same, and that is wrong. See attached picture. P.S. Ah yes, and one more thing, I don't hear trim on/off sound anymore (click). Reaper6 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 There is no "desired track" from your first/last position. You start and end at airport/heliport not a waypoint. Once you get to your first waypoint, then you will have a desired track angle to your next waypoint and so on.
