Nate Dogg Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Hi. I posted this over at naturalpoint, but thought i would ask it here too as i know a number of you use trackIR. I just have a couple of questions that i would like answered before i purchase the trakir4pro. 1. Does this device fit on a dell2405FPW screen? and does the device need to be at eye level to work? Currently the top of my screen is a good 6inches above the top of my head. If it can't fit ontop of the screen due to the heat vents can it sit on the desk (thus being about a foot below the top of my head)? 2. The issue of the trackir 4pro and nforce 4 MB, has it been resolved and does it effect everyone? Im using a asus Sli-deluxe board. Thanks in advance for your respnse. Nate
Crusty Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 it should work fine as long as it has good line of sight to the reflector and does not exceed max distance...eye level is not neccesary, your not gonna stick the reflector between your eyes anyway, a cap-peak is more common, which can of course be tilted up a bit oo err...missus:animals_bunny: ** Anti-Pastie**
Nate Dogg Posted May 1, 2006 Author Posted May 1, 2006 Thanks, i have since found that the angle i would have it on is fine. Yes i will be using a cap with the track clip, so far its looking good. cheers
