SimonColt Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Im unable to use the front panel that comes with those bombs. I've tried using mouse, looking for binds in options menu(tried looking for PBK-3 controls, as thats the only name for the panel i found on the web). As Im unable to click the buttons with my mouse, or flipping the switches with my keyboard, I simply cannot use the bombs :S Any idea what Im doing wrong? My plane is set to GN Weapon mode and bombardment in ASP, but its still not working. Best I can do at the moment is dump unarmed bomb by pulling too many Gs, but thats not even close to using these things right :D
Art-J Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 It should work with stock, unmodded cockpit. Just checked and all switches are clickable, with both RN-24 and RN-28. Do You use any pit mods? Might be worth turning these off and trying again. If not, DCS repair will probably be necessary! i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
SimonColt Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) No cockpit mods, it refuses to work. :S Can someone walk me through step by step on how to use it? I might be missing something. Edited April 1, 2015 by SimonColt
Art-J Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Not much sense in giving a walk-through, if You cannot use the panel at all. You're not missing anything - all switches on it should be mouse-clickable from the get-go, whether the plane is powered up or not, mission starting on the ramp or in the air etc. Can you click other buttons and switches in the pit? It seems something got broken in Your install, I'd still suggest trying a repair. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Art-J Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) No it won't, because they're stored in Your C:\Users\<yourprofile>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\ folder and the repair script cannot make any changes over there. However... ... it is possible, that the "unclickability" problem is related to something going FUBAR in Your personal config files, so IF repair doesn't solve the issue, I suggest moving Your SavedGames\DCS folder somewhere else for a second. The game will create a new, clean config then and we'll see what happens. Edited April 1, 2015 by Art-J i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Art-J Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Cant seem to be able to find repair. Im using steam version of dcs though. Standalone version here, so I can't help You out with this one! i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Blech Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Hi, I have the standalone too Found this "The Steam version uses 'Verify Files' to clean a download back to the original and the stand-alone has it's own version of that called 'DCS Repair'." Perhaps you will find it in STEAM under the DCS World-properties, local files ?
