copy controller assignments to another aircraft?

Started simulator scene after 10 years of pause. Got myself a decent PC, Saitek X-55 and pedals and DK2. Beautiful and so real.

 

Flying in P-51D with all important keys mapped to X-55 as flying with DK2 keyboard is not an option. How to copy the same setup to 109, Sabre or even A-10? Surely not all keys work/align but most general ones do. Like open canopy, lower gear, drop flaps.. Really frustrating to start mapping the keys from scratch for each AC.

 

There is "general" setting but it does nothing. I can map whatever there but it will not work unless it is mapped in specific AC.

 

Copy (or similar button, writing this with mac with no access to DCS) near the title are inactive. There must be a way to do this easier?

You must set them each up individually.

Not really.

One can use a profile that someone else made.
