How can I install and use Two different version of DCS world?

I want to install and play current last version of DCS world AND previous verision(esp. 1.2.7).

I think if use just a DCS world and a previous version of open beta then it's possible, but I can't find the way.

please, help me.

-Install 1.2.7

-Rename the /DCS World/ Folder to /DCS World-127/

 

-Install the Latest Release Version in the Normal /DCS World Folder

 

Open Notepad

and Type a Name for the First/Up to date install ie:

RELEASE

 

Save as dcs_variant.txt and place in the main folder of the Original DCS install.

Boot DCS to the Main Menu.

You will notice in /Saved Games/ it will show up as /Saved Games/DCS.Release/

All settings for this Install will save to that folder.

 

Now, Copy that dcs_variant.txt to the 2nd DCS Install and change the name inside the file to:

OLD

or

127

 

Save the dcs_variant.txt File.

 

Boot that DCS Install, and it should create a separate /Saved Games/DCS.OLD/ Folder for that install.

All Saved Settings for the OLD install will be saved to that folder.

Change the old 1.2.7 Shortcuts to "launcher.exe" instead of "DCS_Updater.exe", so you wont have to hassle with updates.

In fact, the reason of trying to installing 2 DCS is your project, F16.

In up-to-date version of DCS there is not still perfectly work, so I want old version of DCS.

What is most perfectly working each version of your F16 project and DCS?
