jfri Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I'm using Track Ir 5 and the TM Hotas Warthog stick. Before the Warthog stick I used the CH Flight sim yoke and assigned its mixture axis as zoom in DCS. Now I have no free axis so for now I have assigned zoom in and zoom out to the data management switch. In the P51 Mustang this is no problem. But in the A10 (and another planes like F16 F86 too I suspect) the button is needed for the corresponding plane switch. If I would get the full package TM Throttle+Stick would there be a free axis or two way button for zoom ? I find the zoom feature rather indispensable in DCS.
NeilWillis Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Yes, there is a grey lever to the right of the throttle levers that works well - except when using it for the flaps on the P-15D on my set up that is. The lever is the friction control for the throttles on the real A-10C stick, but it is a spare axis control on the Thrustmaster version. I'd definitely recommend the full package.
