Luftwoller Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Hi All, This is probably a silly question but im trying to get the hang of landing and taking off the Dora and the 109k. Is there a mission that someone has made that would enable me to do this without having to go to the in game missions/campaigns. For example, the only mission I can find for Dora practise involves flying through gates and circling the runway. Id like there to be no gates and just get straight in there. For taking off and landing. I know this can probably be achieved using the mission editor but that is really all Dutch to me. Thanks in advance, ...Guy Helicopters!! Open the Mission Editor, place an airplane at the airfield of your choice, set Player as the pilot and make it start on the runway to begin with (ramp starts require you know how to start the engines) ... and don' worry about waypoints, just make it really simple. After you've done that, practice take-offs and landings to your hearts content! P.S. It's definitely worth it to explore the Mission Editor and it's fairly straight forward for simple stuff. It can get very complex if needed but I just use it to create simple missions :). "A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft." Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!
