No in-game sound

Hello all. I'm new to the forums, but I've been playing DCS World for quite somewhile now, although I only recently really got into it, by buying FC3. Anyway, since I started to play it again, something weird has happened. There's no sound in the game itself.

Whenever I'm in the menu, mission editor, or wherever, I do hear the sounds/music. However, when I join a singleplayer game, to actually fly the planes, there's no sound.

I've searched my dcs.log file, to see whether it simply fails to load for whatever reason. But, the porblem is: the dcs.log file does report that it has loaded the sounds.

Then I tried to restart the game, and something very odd is happening; this time the following is shown in my dcs.log file:

"00000.413 INFO SOUND: loaded 944 sdefs from "sounds\sdef""

And a few lines later:

"00004.108 INFO SOUND: loaded 0 sdefs from "c:\...\saved games\dcs\sounds\sdef"

I'm using the Steam Version of the game, but I've also used the downloadable version of the game from the site itself. Never had any problems with either of those versions, but suddenly the sounds are not working.

If anyone could help me, or give me some tips, thank you!

P.S.: I've also seen the following lines:

"00000.678 UNKNOWN WinMain: plugin: Su-27 Flanker by Eagle Dynamics disabled by Flaming Cliffs by Eagle Dynamics"

I'm not sure of this is okay, or may even cause the problems in the audio, but it simply seems a bit odd to me.

P.P.S.: The audio doesn't work on any aircraft. I simply have NO sound in the game whatsoever.
