Hi, due to lack of time required to fully enjoy the study sims I also own ( A10C, KA50 etc...) I have brought and installed FC3 and have some quick queries to help me get set up and running...

1) in a quick mission in the F-15, when I take my hands off the controls, the jet dives towards the ground. Does it not fly straight and level with controls neutral?

2) In the assignments, I could not see and way to get into the AA or AG master modes. I was also hampered by the fact that my mouse was working like a yoke, fixed that by deleting the errant assignments, but then the cursor was not visible on screen so I could click the knobs etc.....

I am using a warthog so any pointers to a decent profile would be appreciated.

Thank you

The F-15 auto trims to 1g (unless you accidentally turn off pitch CAS), this will not necessarily allow the plane to fly indefinitely level hands off though. For that, you need to engage altitude hold (L-Alt 4 I think). Diving violently into the ground is not normal though, maybe you need to calibrate your stick, add deadzone, or there is an interference in the key binds somewhere.

Avionics in FC3 are simplified, so modes are handled by the 1 through 7 keys by default. 2 is default BVR mode, 7 is default AG mode. The F-15 has no AG mode, so 7 key does nothing in that plane.

There is no clickable cockpit in FC3.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

Sounds like you need to check your controls for conflicting assignments.

Make sure you only have on physical controller assigned for each axis in game.

Use the "clear category" option under axis assignment on all controllers except for the mouse, and then assign the controls you need.
