Hi all,

I have a Saitek X-52 throttle and stick and I was wondering if there was a way to map the pinky switch and the slider on the throttle? When I try to re-map a key to these, nothing appears?

Pinky can be set as a modifier in the game controls slider can be set for zoom or air brakes in the saitek software these are just my preference

I really should have said that I have no idea how to program this thing. My worry is, as always, that Im going to cock something up and not be able to solve the problem.

I looked in the modifiers in the 'Adjust controls' tab and the pinky switch doesn't show up in the list or when I press it? As for getting the slider to work????????

I know its probably really tedious to try to explain to a noob and I wish there was a TS channel for help but....Help!!!

The slider will be under an Axis, not a button. So to program the slider in DCS you can inly do so in axis assign. As for the pinky switch, make sure you are selecting the throttle column when trying to keybind that switch to a certain function.

I saw throttle column because in the keybinding menu for DCS some stick and throttle setups show up as two separate controls. One column for throttle the second for stick and then if you have trackir that will be the third column.

There's 2 ways to get the pinky to work as a pinky modifier.

1 : Program it trough your software as a modifier.

or 2 : Program it in DCS as a modifier.

If you want to program it trough DCS , you must make sure it's not already programmed in your software , or DCS wont recognise it as a key.
