Oh-Zee Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Hey guys, I'm trying to program some Su-27's to refuel after take off and then proceed on their intercept mission. There are no advance way-point options that I can find for either the 27's or the IL78. I know I have seen this option somewhere, but it is evading me. I read in the forums that they only have to be close to one another, but not working either. I have tried to change fuel load out and they just rtb instead of hooking up to the tanker. Their fuel range is a hinder to the whole mission. I need to also extend the range of some back up F-18's also. Any ideas to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated. If need be I can attach the miz file. Thanks guys love the mission making !
Grimes Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 The Su-27 in game does not have the option for airborne refueling. I believe the Su-30, 33, and 34 can though. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Exorcet Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I've got around issues like this by replacing the group of planes with a clone group. I'd do it by picking a point that the original group would fly through with 100% certainty and doing the switch at that point via a trigger zone. Obviously you might want to consider if players in the mission will be close enough to see this happening. I came up with this not through refueling issues, but a ground attack group simply refused to do ground attack so I just gave up and replaced with them with a new group which thankfully did drop their bombs.
