666th_birdy
Get it here: http://home.planet.nl/~monfro/666th/lomac-missions/f-15c_CAP_at_Razdolnoye.zip I've made a simple video clip (17Mb) of the mission primairly to illustrate the enhancements caused by my scenery mod. Get it here: http://home.planet.nl/~monfro/666th/lockon.avi Sitrep: Today the major oil-consuming western countries will meet in a hotel of a small town just 2 miles south of Razdolnoye Airbase. They will sign an agreement that regulates the oil-distribution from Russia through various countries. Russia will not attend the meeting since the subject is very delicate amongst certain groups in Russia. Moldavia will also be absent as they are opposed to the agreement. It is alledged that a large group of wealthy Russian businessmen have financed a millitia and purchased old ground attack aircraft like the Su17 and Mig17. These businessmen have also infiltrated in the Moldavian government. Since Moldavia is a small and poor country we fear they are easily persuaded into joining forces with the millitian group. We fear an attack, on the forementioned hotel, by Russian and Moldavian aircraft is eminent. Mission: Several diplomates will land at Razdolnoye-AFB the next couple of hours and you are tasked to releave flight Pontiac (2x F15C) and fly a 25 minute CAP in the area north of Razdolnoye. Take off from kirovskoye-AFB at 09:30hrs. Time On Steerpoint1 (patrol start) is 09:45 ROE: The IFF codes of Russian planes is known and are indicated by default as hostile by the F-15C's Radar. Since we are not at war with Russia, you may not shoot down unidentified Russian aircraft. Moldavian IFF codes are unknown and will be interpreted as friendly. Identify boogies using Radar and only engage when they are bound for the no-fly zone (indicated red on the map) and are identified as ground-attack aircraft! You may head for Krasnogvardeyskoye-airbase, 33 miles south-west of your CAP area, at 10:10hrs to land. Flight Springfield (2x F15C) will releave you. Park your jet on the south-east side of the airfield near the C-17's. Ground personell is positioned at every taxi-lane crossing and will point you to the proper taxi lanes using their stingers. PS: Scheduled aircraft leaving or heading for Raznadonolye airbase will do so flying at headings of 90°, 180°, 270° or 360°. Use this intel to search the sky for possible incoming boogies. ---------mission characteristics-------- - alive airfields using statics, vehicules and aircraft - Radar training (checking IFF, aspect angles and aircraft description) - patience and respecting ROE exercise - using Birdy's scenery mod, landing and taxiing is a treat Good luck, 666th Birdy DELL Inspiron 1564 / Intel Core i3 M330 @ 2.13GHz (4GB)___ATI Radeon HD4330(512Mb)___Windows7 Home Premium 64bit
