How can I set a view (inside a cockpit) - manipulate controls and

then revert back to normal view.

I thought about snapviews - but snapviews seem to be view only.

I use snapviews to set a view.

I then click on the cockpit switches that I want.

Then I turn off that snapview.

There are two ways to use snapviews. One is to just press Num0 and your Numpad key of your snapview. While you are 'holding' those keys, you can see your view. However, you cannot press other keys to do commands like Gear up/down; flaps; etc.. But you should be able to click if your aircraft has a clickable cockpit.

The other way is to 'toggle' the snapview On, do your controls, then 'toggle' it off. Press RCtrl+Num0 to toggle snapviews, then press your snapview numpad key. Now click your controls or press your keys for gear up/down; flaps; etc. Then press RCtrl+Num0 to toggle snapviews off.

PS: this is how to 'use' snapviews. I wasn't sure if you wanted info on how to customize a view, or use a view while using your controls..

You wont be able to click on the controls in any of the FC3 aircraft if that is what you are attempting. They use keyboard shortcuts.
