flupke Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Hello, I have played FC3 for some time now, but I still have a problem when I face a group of 2 opponents. On the HUD, I see with the radar only one bar, or I see two bars which are very close, and I cannot designate one target or the other one easily. Most of the time, I ask my wingman to attack the first target, and when I try to select the second one, when I can, I select the same. Is there a simple way ( for instance, to zoom in to distinguish clearly between the bars? but I haven't managed to do it ) or some good practices with groups of multiple targets? Flupke.
Frostie Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Best you can do is set the target box above or below to pick top contact or bottom contact, left or right when they are merged in the horizontal plane. Exorcet Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Before you're in missile range, tell your wingman to break to the side. You break in the opposite direction, this will separate you by a few miles. Now the bandits must each go a different direction to attack both of you. You may need to spam the radio command if there is a lot of chatter, even if it's just your wingman spouting useless contact information. combatace Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Reduce the scale on the hud that way targets will show a bit higher on HUD but will be a it more separated. To support my models please donate to paypal ID: hp.2084@gmail.com https://www.turbosquid.com/Search/Artists/hero2084?referral=hero2084
