The winner of the air race will be entitled to a copy of the aircraft (P-40F Kittyhawk) pictured below upon release, thanks to the guys at VEAO Simulations. All information about how to qualify is listed on the web page we have launched. You will receive a personal response regarding your registration within 24 hours. The final will be streamed live on Twitch.tv, with possible commentary following the race.

Way ta go, VUAF and VEAO. I'm not good enough to race, but I highly encourage those who are thinking about this contest to go for it.

Should be filmed, twitched..... commented on TS3? An online event promoting those who host this, DCS and of course, VEAO. I say GO FOR IT. There's time to grow this thing and make it a "real" event for VR pilots, and one heck of a show for enthusiasts!

I'd sit back and watch on my big screen if I can get the hook-up to work! With a streaming link, people wouldn't who are spectating wouldn't have to be running DCS, and the server (password only - given to participants) would have an easier time of it.

The final (after qualifiers) will be streamed live on Twitch. You may not be good enough to win, but it's really worth participating in, trust me! It's great fun, and you'll be in line for some VUAF content and if you get to the final, you'll be flying live. Thanks for the comment anyway.

Cool initiative! Any chance to include targets on the way for racers to strike in exchange of a bonus in the form of seconds to deduct from the final flight time? Kind of mixing air racing and combat...regular P-51 would be needed though.

Thanks for the comment! Appreciate the idea, but we'll be sticking to the original concept. This allows absolutely everybody to take part, which is something we're really keen on.

You will be allowed to use custom skins for any qualifying flights, these will take place on a public server and will the times will be saved in the server log. In the final, we will have ready some custom VUAF skins for the pilots to use.
