Hey fellow Kampfpiloten,

ive read the whole Manual but my question wasnt solved so i have to ask the community.

How do i navigate from the Ramp to the objective?

If i start a misson, im unable to find the objective. Also i dont know how to find the desired airfield after the objective where i have to land.

Hope you get me :)

Greetings from the sunny Germany,

Cheers,

Mark

You have to learn how to use a ruler and a pen, write down your waypoints direction and distance, then dial your magentic compass to the bearing and fly towards it. Also the WW2 birds have a awesome GPS system, we in the old school call it the ENS, the Eyeballs Navigaton System.

If your radio is tuned to the airfield you can just ask them for bearing and distance, but if not, you need to know the area you flying in, landmarks and suchlike.

Competence in air navigation is what you need. In the absence of visual references, the words "dead reckoning" where the ones to know in a time where gyroscopes wheren't yet accurate enough and satellite navigation where SciFi.

Download this documents:

Also, read this manual:

If you want to go all the way, buy an analog flight computer.

Cheers.
