Did anyone experiance similar problems or is it only me?

Re Opentrack 2.3

I'm using Opentrack 2.3 with EdTracker in DCS with no problems. Had a few sensitivity issues especially in Multiplayer, but stable now. Make sure in the freetrack option that the interface is 'Use TrackIR, hide FreeTrack'.

All the best

Thank you m8 but this is no issue for me, not working.

headtracker.dll is not problem because 2.2 and FacertracknoIR working.

2.3 id dead in DCS but working for example in Elite Dangerous.

It's most likely a headtracker.dll issue.

There are few versions, try a different one, even if it's not the latest.

I guess this is it but where is this headtracker.dll by default placed in DCS?

I didn't live manually created headtracker folder or files, after I test it and didn't work I simply delete it and put on default version.

Is maybe a problem a bad version of downlodad opentrack 2.3 rc12p1?

I got huge problems with downloading reporting some errors. Manage to download it with Jdownloader and unzip it only with 7zip.

In install folder there is only 32bit exe. Comparing with 2.2 which have 64bit exe and have some more files.

Did someone have some alternative link for downloading 2.3 rc12p1 to check it out?

Maybe something has changed in rc release, try to ask on opentrack forum or report a bug.

ED officially supports TrackIR only so headtracker.dll for opentrack/freetrack/FTnoIR are comunity compiled. There are four or five different versions, the most up to date is compiled by 'samtheeagle' that works with Huey, search the forum for the thread.

There is also one on FTNoIR website.

Basically you have to try them all...

In my case none of various 'samtheeagle' versions worked on my PC, I didn't even get headtracker column in settings. FTNoIR version worked but was crashing DCS. I searched eagle forum for couple of days and found one outdated dll that works fine (made by 'prok' I think).

Problem solved.

Today 2.3 rc13 is released and it's working.

I didn't have downloading problems and I guess that was problem with last version by missing or corrupted some files.

Hello,

i have a question regarding opentrack-2.3-rc21p11. How can i set the curve mapping to "linear modus" (i don't mean the curve shape but the points you can add)that means currently the points on the curves have a snap function on the underlaying grid, which means the required precision of the older versions of opentrack is missing.

I hope you guys know what i mean.

I also have a problem with opentrack with DCS. It was working fine and the opentracker still tracks my head movements but DCS is not recognizing it anymore. Also in the DCS controls I used to see headtracker in the top tab and it was all in the correct axis for tracking but now it has disappeared. I've tried reinstalling and running in administrator.> nothing changed since it ws working. I was using DCS and I closed opentrack, and when I opened it again it wasn't working. It's all I have to fly DCS. Please help!
