tl3w Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Hi all, I am new to the forums and DCS itself, and I have a question regarding joystick modifiers. I don't know if this is the right place to post this, BUT Is there any way to make the joystick modifiers needed to be pressed and HELD in order to activate another switch on the joystick. I want them to work just like keyboard modifiers in this sense instead of pressing the modifier and toggling it untill it is untoggled. Thanks for the help!
cichlidfan Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Yes. When you are in the Modifiers section of Options>Controls, you can assign a button as either a modifier, or a switch. The first will act as you wish, while the second is created as a toggle. You will notice, when in that screen, that the standard keyboard modifier are already defined as modifier. EDIT: Oh, and welcome to the forum. :) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Sokol1_br Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) I use the "switches" in keyb' Scroll Lock and Caps Lock, so have a visual feedback (LED) that "switches" are ON. Be sure to turn both off before start a flight. :) Edited July 9, 2015 by Sokol1_br
