AN/ARC-27 Tuning

Hi All,

From what I can determine, the only way to tune for comms is in the mission editor. Since I am still learning the F86, I trying to pre plot a course and fly it after departing via the Instant Action feature. I would to have comms with departing tower and arriving tower but I don't know how to manually tune the radio on the ramp. I have the NDB figured out.

You can't. It's a mission editor only option as like the Mig21 or P51D radio's they are preset by ground crew.

 

That said, it's got 20 channels and while it doesn't cover all the airports, it does do most.

 

Uboats made a nice little page for the Kneeboard for the default channels along with the NDB freqs:

Save it to:

C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\F-86F Sabre

You may have to make the folder if it doesn't exist.
