peker Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Is it just me that the throttle does not work? I'm trying to make cold start ignition and the throttle that configured does not move at all When I flew everything is fine thankx
Flying-Kane Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Hi peker, if you start a cold start mission, you have to set the throttle in the idle position first, then the throttle should move as expected. Flying-Kane Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Hi peker, yes, at first you have to push a button, regardless of a throttle. Sorry with the POS1 button, it's on german keyboards. POS1 = Home button on english keyboards (if I'm not wrong.) Echo38 Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Why does this key need to be pressed? It doesn't in the P-51D. Is this a simulation of some unique feature of the FW 190's throttle?
golani79 Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Because the throttle is locked in "Aus" (Off) position by default and you need to get it out of the indent. >> DCS liveries by golani79 <<
Echo38 Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Got it. Like the WEP wire on the P-51, only on the other end.

You have to push a button, to bring the throttle lever into idle position. Crumpp Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 The power lever of the FW190 series is not hard linked to the engine. Think of it as an analog FADEC system. Below FTH the same power lever position (dent setting) results in the same engine power irregardless of density altitude.
