I think it's a feature that would only work in single player. The drain on computer resources would go up with dozens of NPCs running around marshalling aircraft. Multiplayer hardly bares thinking about.

I have 7 extra CPU cores sitting around doing almost nothing. Those could do the ground/deck crew AI no problem. I don't think having these units perfectly synchronized is that important. They don't need to cause collisions with vehicles, and AI combat units should not try to target them. There shouldn't be a problem loading them in a bubble near the player only. Just make AI follow the same rules with or without the ground crew present and everything should be fine. This would allow everything to be done on the local machine only and not increase multiplayer network traffic. As an extra bonus, if it is done similar to the way I describe, ground crew could be reduced or turned off as a graphics option for people with low performance computers without desynchronizing the game.

This should be a new feature optimized for its purpose, not just a bunch of infantry soldier AI dressed in ground crew gear following complicated scripts.

I would just be happy if they got the sea states right and got more dynamic weather. I mean, what fun is a trap in perfect weather.

Isn't there dynamic weather in the game (as long as you're an expert at weather)

Yes there is, and Ive seen ships in DCS pitching as much as five meters up or down. (Try to land on a pitching ship, during a raging storm, in a Huey, FUN!! :) )

Why do Navy Planes Have Tailhooks?

Unbelievably, people don't realize that after a tough day of flying on and off of an aircraft carrier the planes are always washed, and they use the hooks to hang the planes over the side to drip dry.

Why are naval aircraft so rusty.

I know because of the salt and all but... Shouldn't something that travals faster than sound be.. Rust free?

You have obviously not been in a US Navy hanger. Corrosion control is a top priority and all maintainers have tasks to do on a regular basis.
