iw_shawn Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Is it possible to fly the SU-25T without rudder pedals? Mine broke in a move and never got replaced. I do plan on getting some in a few months. Is there some sort of auto rudder, or way to coordinate turns without slipping? I feel like getting back into flight sim, I used to fly a lot of civil avation stuff in FSX, mainly higher end turbo props add-ons. I got busy in real life, and haven't flown much in a few years. I feeling like giving some military flying a shot, and DCS looks to have the immersion and realism factor I enjoy.
bart86pl Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 What joystick/hotas setup do you use? I fly without rudder pedals atm with no problems - for rudder I`m using the rotary knob on my X-55 throttle (not a fan of twist stick :)) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic73792_1.gif [/sIGPIC]
Rangi Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 The only time you REALLY need a rudder in the Su-25t is if you loose an engine. Most other times you can get away without one. PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor.
Goldham Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Rudder pedals are not neccesary on a 25T. The keyboard or a twist is generally fine. You only tend to use them when damaged or while taxiing.
