  1. Sums up the "Flying Tank" pretty well, lost half of it and was able to still finish the mission plus some TOO.
  2. Hi, I have exact same issues as users above - VERY low, single digit FPS on the ground - and no VR. My PC is brand new with Kingston FuryBeast 32GB RAM, i9-12900KF, NVidia GTX 1060 6GB, the sim is running on M.2 PCIe SSD. No mods, fresh Win10, no other apps running, using reasonable 1920-1200 res. There is no chance its my system, every other map (including Syria over Beirut) is running stellar, on High to Ultra. Falklands poor performance near ground or any city is not, I repeat, not affected by reducing sliders/settings. I hope the team will at least let us know that they acknowledge this issue, as overall the map IS GREAT. Best regards, Bart
  3. No problem, thank you for the support, topic can be closed as far as am concerned.
  4. Its Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB My full specs are in the post above. Ye, looks like its time to upgrade. :pilotfly:
  5. Temps are ok, my CPU is not affected by this at all, spikes are only on GPU card. From what I just been told in my bug report, my VRAM in GPU might be too low to handle the processes needed for F-14 pit.
  6. Thank you for replying, Iv tested F-14 on absolutely lowest setting and ultra. With and without mods to lower pit resolution. Issue persist no matter what. On max settings every other module can run 50-60 fps no issues. My Gpu is indeed stressed by DCS, but CPU on max settings is always below 50% load. Luckly I`m planning to upgrade the GPU soon, thanks again for looking in to this and replying!
  7. GPU lag spikes and FPS jumps caused by the radar --- Bug: When Radar On - for me GPU usage jumps from zero to 99% and back, FPS drops from 60 to 5 and back. Radar Off - stable 99 GPU usage, no FPS drops. Can I reproduce it 100%: yes How to reproduce/ description: Turn on your task manager and observe the GPU usage when: Radar On Radar Off DCS Version: OpenBeta 2.5.6.55363/No mods/No headtracking. Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 3930K @ 3.20GHz 48 °C Sandy Bridge-E 32nm Technology RAM 32,0GB DDR3 @ 799MHz (10-10-10-27) Motherboard ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P9X79 PRO (LGA2011) 33 °C Graphics 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (Gigabyte) 52 °C Above issue is only present with the F-14 module.
  8. I found the culprit for the massive GPU lag in F-14. If you experiencing lag spikes on your gpu, turn on your task manager and observe the GPU usage when: Radar On - for me GPU usage jumps from zero to 99% and back Radar Off - stable 99 GPU usage, no FPS drops. Please, please look in to it Heatblur. Your great product is unusable for me since months. Only when going silent with radar its a smooth ride.
  9. Copy paste from my other reply as sadly issue persist after recent update:
  10. After latest update situation is still the same, all other aircrafts smooth 30-60 depending on conditions, F-14, lag spikes 60 to 5fps non stop. I have a sad feeling this is something that few ppl is affected by and we are fubar with our F14s.
  11. Just stopping by to tell you that in non VR open beta (latest) is the same FPS issue - yes I tried everything, running on SSD as well. Every other module is fine on pretty much high settings. No matter what I change the FPS (gpu spikes) in F14 inside are horrific. From 60 fps to complete stop for a sec and back to 60. Lowering pit textures via mod not helping at this point, tried every other trick including messing with pagefile - no difference. Again, every other module works absolutely fine. Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 3930K @ 3.20GHz 48 °C Sandy Bridge-E 32nm Technology RAM 32,0GB DDR3 @ 799MHz (10-10-10-27) Motherboard ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P9X79 PRO (LGA2011) 33 °C Graphics 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (Gigabyte) 52 °C I forgot to add, that from what I`m experiencing, and from what I read on other topics on the F14 performance, it must be something under the hood causing this, as its not the visuals. For example, same high settings, same dense scenery and planes like resources hungry MiG-21 loads fast and runs smoothly 40-50fps. F-14 is simply unplayable in the same environment.
