здравствуйте все,

This is my first post although I have been using DCS World (single player for a few years). My first sim was Black Shark (followed by an upgrade to BS2 which I got before DCS World. Since I have a great interest in languages including Russian I decided from the get go that I would use a Russian cockpit etc and have done since.

What I would like tho is for the subtitles in game such as the ATC to be written in Cyrillic but I only have a folder "en" at C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\l10n

I want to get hold of the folder "ru" so I can swap it out. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to download localisation files separate from the main DCS installer.

Alternatively has anyone got that folder "ru" that they can zip up and send me? Since DCS World is free I assume this is not a legal issue?

Thanks for any help!

Stevo. :)

Hi Stevo_HR,

you can change the language of the GUI any time. Just open the file "lang.cfg" with an editor. This file you can find in the "DCS World/Config"-folder.

Now change the language-code in your prefered one:

DE (German)

EN (English)

FR (French)

RU (Russian)

ES (Hispanic)

CZ (Czech)

Now save your "lang.cfg" and perform a "repair" of your DCS (Windows Start menu --> programs --> Eagle Dynamics --> Repair DCS World).

Thats it.

Kind regards,
