Works fine for me. Try repairing your DCS installation:

Start --> All programs --> DCS World --> Repair DCS World

It sounds like the patch corrupted something when it installed for you.

Hmm strange. When you say you can't save missions in the editor, what happens if you try? Is the save option unavailable, or does it appear to save but not actually save anything?

Wow, that really is weird! If your DCS World installation thinks it's complete and uncorrupted the only things I can think of that might cause that sort of issue would be a problem with a DCS mission editor mod, or a windows file system error. Might be worth checking that the directory in to which you're trying to save missions isn't designated a read-only or similar.

Do you have any other programs that do this, or is it just DCS World?

Really not sure what to suggest in that case. Might be worth a clean re-installation.

I assume you click save on the mission and nothing happens, or possibly the save icon is stuck looking like it is being "pressed."

Having your logs might be helpful. Just open up the game fresh, open a mission and try to save it. If it gets stuck force crash the game and then navigate to C:\Users\<yourWindowsUserName\Saved Games\DCS\Logs and find 'me.log". Upload that file and it will likely show the mission editor errors.

Additionally you can try deleting the files in the DCS\MissionEditor folder there in saved games. If you care about your logbook or custom payloads I recommend backing up the two lua files that share their name. Otherwise you WILL lose that data when you delete the folder.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
