Darv Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Hi guys, I've not been playing DCS that long and am going through the tutorials at the mo. I'm onto the 3rd lesson on weapons which is the cluster bomb lesson dropping on a convoy of trucks. The first two lessons I've been able to drop bombs in ccip and ccrp modes, but when in ccrp or ccip with the cluster bomb even if I get the line below the bombing reticule I can't get the diamond to come up or release when I'm diving and I can't figure it out. Can you help please

PiedDroit Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) Since you talk about a diamond I assume you're using the SU-25T (not SU-25A). Here are a couple of tracks I made (no joystick, it's pretty bad I know), showing CCRP and CCIP runs. I kept [sPACE] press during CCRP attack. It works exactly the same as iron bombs, so maybe you're out of parameters when you try your attacks (too low?), since you seem to do well with normal bombs. What is the name of the bomb you try to drop ? If you're using KGMU it's a completely different weapon that will work only at low level CCRP.SU-25T-cluster-CCIP.trkSU-25T-cluster-CCRP.trk Edited September 7, 2015 by PiedDroit
