Gryzor Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Afther 2.00 will be released along with Nevada Map, ¿other maps like strait of Ormuz will come faster? ¿Will be expected shorter time to develope?
Blaze Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 The reason Nevada took so long was because not only did the map have to be created, but the tools and technology for building and integrating it into EDGE as well. Now that this has been accomplished, hopefully the map-making process should be "somewhat" quicker, now that the tools and framework have been laid out. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Slipp Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) IIRC, in of the recent streams Wags stated something along the lines that Strait Of Hormuz is getting close to being done. We'll probably have it soon. :) EDIT: Plus, the fact that first release was planned for winter 2014 means that the map is probably closer than we think and is probably just waiting for the new technologies that are coming with DCS 2 that will allow for new maps.
