Who's making panel faces out there?

Looking for someone who can manufacture panel faces - Ideally cnc'd acrylic panels.

 

I bought some great panels from TomDK made by Linden I believe, but he's been inactive for some time. They're made from white translucent acrylic with a black top layer. The lower half is simple clear acrylic with holes cut for the switches/pots. I'm perfectly happy with the results and would like some more the same.

 

I've looked at pre made solutions but the cost is ridiculous - for someone who already has the tools it should be a relatively cheap process I'd have imagined.

 

I can supply all my own electronics/lighting, so I really just need a cut and etched panel face and backing that I can thread the switches through.

 

I need an AHCP primarily but if someone is making good replicas and the price is right then I might be looking for some simplified radio panels among others.

When im done with the A-10C MIP, you can expect to see a full set of A-10C Panels from me, with or without Aluminum Backplate.

 

Other aircraft and Helicopter panels will follow later, like the F-16 and Huey just to name a few i have planned :)

 

I will also do Custom Work.

I'm making my own on equipment at work but I have discussed this with the company owners as a possible supplemental business. The problem is getting the process down fast enough to be cost effective. My current methods are slow. My panels aren't exactly prototypical either, so that raises the question if people would buy them or not.

 

I did just order some laserable engraving plastic since I'm tired of rotary engraving/doing the color fill and I don't feel like painting acrylic for laser use.

Lynx whats your eta on simple panel fascias? The whole project looks/sounds great.

Im not entirrely sure what you mean by fascias?

 

I am in the Development process, which of course take a Little time since everything has to fit together, and im doing original panel Width and height, so that people can buy real panels that will still fit, and look alike.
