Campaign advancement

Hello all !

 

Is it possible to import the différents campaigns advancement ?

My logbook show all my records but all my campaigns are "inactive'

Same here. The only campaign still active is the official Su27 DLC.

There is the solution proposed by Tehrawk here, however the thread was closed.

 

It didn't work at first for me, I had to replace paths separators, from this:

 

["campaign"] = "./mods/aircraft/Uh-1H/Missions/en/Campaigns/en_UN-Pilot.cmp",

 

to this:

 

["campaign"] = ".\\Mods\\aircraft\\Uh-1H\\Missions\\en\\Campaigns/en_UN-Pilot.cmp",

 

After replacing them, the status of my campains changed back from inactive to active and I could continue them normally where I left them in version 1.2.

 

It's apparently not a good idea to import them, though I didn't have any problem with it. I'd say, if you know what you are doing, make a backup of your Saved Games/DCS.openbeta folder just in case, and proceed to the copying and editing of logbook.lua if you want to compare a particular mission between 1.2 and 1.5, but you could run into problems (and if so, revert to your backup).

 

Note that if you already did missions in 1.5, they'll be forgotten if you replace the whole logbook.lua file. You may try to merge the files if you don't want to lose anything, but it's probably not automatic, you'll have to choose what to import carefully.

Some official confirmation, or hints as to how a script could do this would be great. If necessary I could craft a Python script to import the missions from 1.2, just let me know.
