I don't but have issues with the default GUI. Check this post:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=148559

I set everything up on a portable computer to set everything OFF/LOW and then transfer all config files "..\Saved games\DCS.OpenBeta\" to a .zip file and over to the dedicated server. Set up passwords and auto login on the portable also so all these settings is copied over!

What file is autologin saved to?

I'm running on a Windows 2012 server, 1.2 runs sweet but 1.5 crashes during splash screen due to the dx11backend.dll.

Only once was I able to get the login screen then it crashed.

Thanks for the information.

The option is in the file optionsLogin.lua that is in the "..\Saved Games\DCS.OpenBeta\MissionEditor\" folder. Enable autologin there.

EDIT: You need a "network.vault" file in the Config folder and the login information must be correct in that file. Same file and path as for 1.2.16

If you were in the room with me I would shake your hand and kiss your cheek.

From what you provided here and in your other thread regarding the default theme, I was able to make it all the way to the menu with out issues.

I'm currently running on a headless Windows 2012 virtual server. I used a local test headless server in my computer that have Geforce card so everything work. I created base settings on that machine, zipped it all, sent it to my remote server, made the default menu change, set render3D to false. It is working so far.

Thanks!

Thanks :)

But the crashing is expected with this first build for the public. I am sure ED will come with updates on the more major issues. Glad you at least got it running, just don't give up. Remember to have breaks and drink much water :D

DCS log file has

DX11BACKEND: Shader "enlight/sun.fx:DIRECTX11=true;" failed to create

The next line it is writing the dump information.

Wonder if there is a way to set DIRECTX11=false. Maybe that replaced Render3D

I had a back-up of the settings you (HIJACK) suggested and it fired up multiple times when I freshly placed the files in the savedgames/DCS.openbeta. But the game will fail to restart, so I would delete the files bring over the ones from my back directory. It would crash a couple times but most of the time it would come up. And I don't have the autoconfig file in my configs folder yet.
