Vivoune Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) Various parts gauges in the front panel along with the watch and various texts aren't covered by the cockpit lights. Edited October 2, 2015 by Vivoune [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
unknown Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 It seems this depends from the in game time? Attached are two pictures, the first is at 7am and the second at 6am in game time. At 5 am everything is fine like on the first picture. Perhaps this has something to do with the angle of the sun rising behind my aircraft and shining into the cockpit. Perhaps a feature and not a bug? Vivoune Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 You're right, looking at our pictures it seem to follow exactly the shadows. It doesn't look right though, maybe it's a feature that needs tweaking, or a bug that is related with shadow casting. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Shaman Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 actually new feature since MiG-21 was released for this specific type of instrument illumination straight from Chernobyl :) http://i.ytimg.com/vi/Pht5DFdEgBU/maxresdefault.jpg 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
Vivoune Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 Yes, it looks good in the mig though, the sun just removes most of the light effects but we can still see the lights still being there underneath just like in real life. While here everything is just on or off, thus it looked like a bug, to me at least. ^^ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kuky Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Possibly could be tweaked a bit later on, but is not really a bug PC specs: Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR
