molnibalage Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 This is how looks for another guy. This is how looks on my HW even everything is set on max in DCS. What can cause this? How should I configure my VGA? (I have NVidia VGA.) For general roads and for other objects I also can see this strange issue.
Revelation Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Turn off Dirt+Lens Flare Win 10 Pro 64Bit | 49" UWHD AOC 5120x1440p | AMD 5900x | 64Gb DDR4 | RX 6900XT
joey45 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I take it your resolution is correct in the settings? Did you copy anything over from 1.2? default everything from Nvidia settings program(s). The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. alex1 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I've seen this before...Check you Anisotropic filtering in nv control panel is at default and delete your settings (Saved Games\DCS.openbeta) and maybe a restart to reset it....
molnibalage Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 Turn off Dirt+Lens Flare None of them were turned on.

amigastar Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 This looks also like an Anisotropic Filtering Problem to me.
alex1 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 When this has happened to me i had to restart and delete the above mentioned files before it fixed itself.....
Gooseneck Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) Set your card software to 'let the 3d application decide' in NVidia control panel or equivalent, then max out everything on the game video settings including the bushes and birds sliders. Start with the default high setting for your native screen res. In addition to the dirt and lens flare, turn off the depth of field blur too. Sorry if this is too obvious. msalama Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Yeah, definitely an anisotropic filtering problem, i.e. AF most likely turned off altogether. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

I cannot see anything similar in game...
molnibalage Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 With x16 AF I got this. I never see such effect of AF in any game... http://sg.hu/forum/uzenet/1277564018/17268
Gooseneck Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) What is 'dirt'...? I cannot see anything similar in game... It's just a little addition for the movie-makers amongst us. Lens flare, dirt on the camera lens and blurred depth of field are great for making movies, not so good for fighting a war! :) P.S. it's under 'lens effects'. I'm not sure what it would be in your native language. Edited October 3, 2015 by Dooyar
Haukka81 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Texture resolution issues I have seen same last Night , 660GTX here and win10 64bit . In case I need lens flare in video I can add anytime later what I want. :)
