What can cause this? How should I configure my VGA? (I have NVidia VGA.) For general roads and for other objects I also can see this strange issue.

I take it your resolution is correct in the settings?

Did you copy anything over from 1.2?

default everything from Nvidia settings program(s).

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

I've seen this before...Check you Anisotropic filtering in nv control panel is at default and delete your settings (Saved Games\DCS.openbeta) and maybe a restart to reset it....

Nope, fresh 1.5.

In Nvida all is on quality or max. quality and app. controlled.

Set your card software to 'let the 3d application decide' in NVidia control panel or equivalent, then max out everything on the game video settings including the bushes and birds sliders.

Start with the default high setting for your native screen res.

In addition to the dirt and lens flare, turn off the depth of field blur too. Sorry if this is too obvious.

Yeah, definitely an anisotropic filtering problem, i.e. AF most likely turned off altogether.

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

What is 'dirt'...? I cannot see anything similar in game...

It's just a little addition for the movie-makers amongst us. Lens flare, dirt on the camera lens and blurred depth of field are great for making movies, not so good for fighting a war! :)

P.S. it's under 'lens effects'. I'm not sure what it would be in your native language.

I just never opened lens flare option, becase I do not need. I guessed has only on/off. In case I need lens flare in video I can add anytime later what I want. :)
