SO i noticed tonight that if I increment my versioning after a minor change to my new miz files that the file size gets kinda wonky... both versions are working fine when I run them but one is bloated by about 2-5x: These are VERY minor changes in the miz... anyone else notice this?

Had exactly the same issue, simple really, mission editor sometimes does not save the scripts you loaded in ME into the mission file. You can test this by un-raring the mission and confirming that the scripts you loaded are in the "l10n" folder. If they are not there go to step below.

Just open the mission again in ME and reload all the scripts, verify as stated above.

It has happened to me multiple times that something goes wrong during save. It seems like it saves, but takes longer than usual. But then when you look at the file, it's significantly smaller. And it won't play if you start the mission. But maybe this is not the same issue.

I know theres an issue if you have the .miz file open in the file explorer at the same time as you are saving it in the ME. But this was not the case when it happened to me.
