Harle Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) The lock button is supposed to have an additional function of "damping" the reticle. I think that's something like electrical caging in Saber. Did anyone notice this damping thingy to be present (or absent) in our Mig-21? Edited October 13, 2015 by Harle
WildBillKelsoe Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I don't think its present. Maybe file a request to LN? AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
OverStratos Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 No, it´s not present yet. I was hoping for LNS to add this feature in the coming updates. This is part of the procedure to obtain a gunning solution in the real MiG.
Harle Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 I wonder if I should take this to the bugs and problems section...
OverStratos Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I wonder if I should take this to the bugs and problems section... It´s more like something that´s missing, not a bug. I guess it will do better in the raw MiG-21 sub-forum. Also and a bit off-topic, I was wondering if they will do something with the NP-27 emergency pump (no function at the time), the booster ailerons switch and also the simulation of both hydraulic systems. The procedures to use gun with radar are a bit complex, I think they take some time to program.
