can't fire sidewinders

I can get the missile tone and lock also but I can't fire the sidewinder missile. The guns fire alright when guns are selected but sidewinders won't come off whether I use the trigger or the weapon release button on my stick. I select missile instead of guns with the knob on the center panel. I'm running the 1.5 beta.

Hold the button down for a second or so till the sidewinders fire. Same for bombs and other weapons.
